As we head into Week 6 of the NFL season, it is do-or-die time for some teams.
One of those teams we will see on Thursday Night Football.
While the others have coaches that are fighting for their coaching lives.
Then there are the Super Bowl contenders that have gotten off to slow starts.
Whatever the reason might be, here are three NFL teams who need a win in Week 6.
Washington Commanders
Playing on Thursday Night Football the Commanders have a short week going into a must-win game.
Washington travels to the Chicago Bears and looks to avoid a 1-5 start to the season.
Playing in the NFC East, a 1-5 record would put them four games out of first place this early in the year.
#Commanders Ron Rivera was asked why the other three teams in the NFC East are better than the Washington Commanders right now.
His answer: “Quarterback.”
Alex Smith said that’s driving a bus over you’re QB.

This is a big game for coach, Ron Rivera.
His job could be on the line, especially if his defense plays poorly against the Bears.
Chicago has one of the worst offenses in the NFL.
They rarely ever throw the ball and Justin Fields has struggled to complete passes this year.
His 55.7% completion percentage is second to last amongst NFL starters.
This should be a game the Commanders win, and they certainly need it.
Green Bay Packers
After an awful loss in Week 5 to the New York Giants, the Green Bay Packers must win in Week 6.
They are playing at home against the New York Jets, and can not afford to fall to 3-3.
Green Bay is expected to be one of the best teams in the NFC this year.
But, they are missing wide receiver, Davante Adams.
The offense has struggled to get anything going through the air this year.
The Packers offense has been held scoreless for a half in 3 of their 5 games this season.

Despite the greatness of Aaron Rodgers, he still needs good weapons to throw to.
After losing Adams, the Packers have done nothing to replace him.
Green Bay has relied on their run game and defense to carry them through this point of the season.
Look for that same formula to be utilized against the Jets.
The Packers have won the NFC North three straight seasons, but that streak looks to be in danger this year.
Cincinnati Bengals
The reigning AFC champions continue to struggle to start this season.
After falling to the Ravens in Week 5, the Bengals record is now 2-3.
Heading into New Orleans in Week 6, Cincy needs a win.
This will be a tough game as well.
The Saints are struggling this year but still have plenty of good players on both sides of the ball.
Quarterback/Tight End, Taysom Hill will be the X-factor in the game for the Saints.
It will be imperative for the Bengals to know where he is before every snap.
The Saints just gave up 32 points to the Seahawks in Week 5.
So the Bengals’ offense will have a chance to put up points.
But, they need to start getting more chunk plays.
Yards per play this season:
28. Carolina 4.86
29. Colts 4.85
30. Steelers 4.83
31. #Bengals 4.81
32. Rams 4.80— LanceMcAlister (@LanceMcAlister) October 10, 2022
Two names the Bengals need to get going are Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Mixon.
Both players are two of the best in the NFL at their positions and have yet to get going this year.
Look for Cincinnati to get the ball to their best players in a game they need to win.
