MLB is the best baseball league in the world and it may not be close.

It has some of the best players on the planet: serious, prepared professionals who are trained to perform some of the hardest things in sports.

However, that doesn’t mean players and fans can’t enjoy a few laughs every once in a while.

Having a good sense of humor is important not only in professional baseball, but also in life.

Kansas City Royals infielder Vinnie Pasquantino certainly has a lot of it.

Sometimes, one has to laugh about his/her own mistakes or failures.

Pasquantino was very relaxed, going through his Twitter timeline, when he found a highlight of himself getting thrown out at second base by the Seattle Mariners.

Tough League!

He then wrote a hilarious tweet telling what happened and showing a screenshot of the epic moment.

“Why is me getting thrown out at second base being promoted on my own twitter?! Tough league,” he said: fan replies started to flow, most of them enjoying what they just read.

As he stated himself: tough league!

Pasquantino is not exactly known for his speed.

His bat, however, is extremely powerful.

He represents the future for a franchise in bad need of some offensive production.

Pasquantino has slashed a cool .278/.369/.441 with nine homers and a 130 wRC+ (100 is the league average, so he has produced 30 percent more than that) in 263 plate appearances.

He is looking every bit like the middle-of-the-order producer he was supposed to be.

Together with former prospects Bobby Witt Jr., Nick Pratto, and MJ Melendez, Pasquantino will be a fixture in the Royals lineup as long as he is healthy.
