He might now be part of the struggling Los Angeles Lakers but there was a time when every team that LeBron James played on seemed to only win.

James’ time with the Miami Heat from 2011 to 2014 was particularly impressive.

During that period, the Heat were on a roll and won two NBA Finals with James leading the way.

There was a time when James was so dominant, in fact, that Chris Webber‘s “keys to the game” before a match between the Heat and Atlanta Hawks was “LeBron wake up, LeBron get on bus, LeBron show up to game.”

It was that simple: if James was playing, the Heat were the favorites to win.

That’s not the case anymore with the Lakers but we can still see the power and skill and dominance of James even as his current team flounders.

Hot, Hot Heat

James averaged 26.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists during his period playing for the Heat.

He was the biggest name in the NBA at the time and his team was the most feared in all the league.

Since then, he has found success with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lakers and has won a ring with both of those squads.

But winning with the Lakers have been his most difficult task yet and the team has suffered serious problems.

In fact, they didn’t even make the playoffs last season.

Still, James was scoring 30 points a game last season and was in the running for scoring champion while also setting records for an NBA athlete at his age.

The man isn’t slowing down and is still trying his hardest.

He might not be undeniably running the league anymore but he’s still a crucial part of it.
