Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks is one of the best young stars in the NBA today.

His 28.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 9.7 assists a game for the 2021-22 season are certainly impressive and attracted a lot of attention.

However, despite Young’s output, the team still struggled during the regular season and crawled into the postseason.

They didn’t make it far and many fans walked away disappointed by Atlanta.

Young wants those people to remember that he’s trying harder than ever to make things right and get his team back into playoff contention.

“Another Day, Another Opportunity,” Young posted on Twitter.

He is obviously ready to make the best of the day – and the season ahead.

That is just one reason why followers of the Hawks should be eager for the new season.

Hawks Getting Helped

The Hawks have made some massive changes to their roster in the offseason.

The biggest was easily the addition of Dejounte Murray, the breakout star formerly of the San Antonio Spurs.

Murray could bring a whole lot to the team, expanding the output on both sides of the floor and really beefing up the team’s frontcourt.

This is going to give Young a huge boost and could have the team storm into the playoffs.

The move for Murray has been called one of the biggest of the summer and it’s easy to see why – it instantly fleshed out the Hawks in big ways.

Just a couple of seasons ago, the Hawks impressed the entire NBA as they became something of a Cinderella story all the way into the playoffs.

With Murray on board, Young tuned in, and the rest of the team ready to right wrongs, they could do it again.
