Brazil-based company JBS’s IT hiring declined 10.4% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.06% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 2.43% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.3% decline over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Analysts tops JBS IT hiring in August 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by JBS, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.43% in August 2022, and a 50% drop over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 26.09% in August 2022, and registered flat growth. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 17.39% in August 2022, a 50% drop from July 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at JBS

North America emerged as the leading region in the global food IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 78.26% share, which marked a 5.26% drop over the previous month.

South & Central America stood next with 13.04%, registering a 62.5% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 8.7% share and a flat growth over July 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 78.26% share in August 2022, a 5.26% decline over July 2022. Brazil featured next with a 13.04% share, down 62.5% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead JBS IT hiring activity in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.52%, down by 18.75% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.09% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 17.39% share, down 50% over July 2022.
