Switzerland-based company Nestle’s IT hiring declined 42.8% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 35.17% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.67% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.43% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 34.78% in July 2022, and a 62.79% drop over June 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 23.91% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 50%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 23.91% in July 2022, a 64.52% drop from June 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Nestle

North America emerged as the leading region in the global food IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 39.13% share, which marked a 63.27% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 34.78%, registering a 72.88% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 19.57% share and a 40% drop over June 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 6.52% and a month-on-month decline of 40%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 32.61% share in July 2022, a 68.09% decline over June 2022. Germany featured next with a 15.22% share, down 73.08% over the previous month. India recorded a 10.87% share, an increase of 66.67% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.57%, down by 65.22% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.22% share, a decline of 70.83% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.22% share, down 46.15% over June 2022.
