It’s been a while since New Orleans Saints fans have seen the best of wide receiver Michael Thomas.
The 2019 Offensive Player of the Year is on a slump over the past two seasons due to injury.
In 2020, he ended up playing only five games due to an ankle injury.
He also missed one game and paid a fine after punching C.J. Gardner-Johnson at practice.
Thomas finished that season with 438 yards and zero touchdowns.
Last season, he didn’t play at all due to his recurring injury.
He thought that his ankle will heal naturally which delayed the operation.
Eventually, he opted for surgery after finding out that his injury wasn’t improving.
In 2022, Thomas would like to make up for lost time, especially because he hasn’t offered much in return after signing a five-year, $100 million extension.
He is also mingling with young fans as shown in this video.

While Thomas is signing autographs for Saints fans, he gave his gloves to two kids in the front row.
The young boys couldn’t believe that they received important things from Thomas.
Their expression says it all as they are visibly surprised and grateful for the moment.
Thomas Hoping To Bounce Back In Peak Form
The Thomas of old is a dominating, unstoppable force that leaves defenders behind.
He has 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first four seasons, including his 2019 campaign wherein he had career-highs of 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Saints are banking on his return to complete their intriguing receiving corps with Jarvis Landry and Chris Olave.
Having Thomas back will also give Jameis Winston more targets to work with.
The luxury of having Alvin Kamara makes the Saints one of the most versatile teams on offense.
However, Thomas’ return adds more dimensions to their passing game.
