JBS’s IT hiring activity remains flat by 0.0% in July 2022


Brazil-based company JBS’s IT hiring remained flat 0.0% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.26% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 2.7% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.18% decline over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Analysts tops JBS IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by JBS, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.28% in July 2022, and a 55.56% rise over June 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 27.59% in July 2022, and registered flat growth. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 24.14% in July 2022, a 75% rise from June 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at JBS

North America emerged as the leading region in the global food IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 65.52% share, which marked a 17.39% drop over the previous month.

South & Central America stood next with 27.59%, registering a 166.67% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 6.9% share and a 33.33% drop over June 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 65.52% share in July 2022, a 17.39% decline over June 2022. Brazil featured next with a 27.59% share, up 166.67% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 6.9% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead JBS IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.17%, down by 11.11% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 27.59% share, a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 17.24% share, up 400% over June 2022.
