The Los Angles Lakers didn’t even make the playoffs this year, causing LeBron James to miss the postseason – something he rarely ever does.
In fact, during his 19 years in the NBA, James has made the postseason a whopping 15 times.
So to not see him in the playoffs was something of an anomaly and just felt downright weird.

StatMuse did the math and figured out that James has been to the playoffs so many times that he has more playoff wins than the Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, and Minnesota Timberwolves combined.
That’s a wild statistic and it’s hard to believe that this one man has more playoff success than multiple teams put together.
But the real question is if James will add even more playoff wins to this total before retiring.
Right now, that’s hard to determine.
Lakers Lagging
James has been playing with the Lakers for four seasons now and the results have been mixed.
To be clear, James has been consistent since moving to the west coast – you’d expect no less from him.
The team around him, however, hasn’t really worked as it’s supposed to.
Last season was a prime example of that: the team never functioned as a cohesive unit and felt like a bunch of great pieces that didn’t fit together.
James tried to carry the team on his shoulders but that didn’t help them cross the finish line.
In the upcoming season, he will need to figure out how he fits in with the lineup and that might mean giving up some responsibility and trusting the rest of the team more.
If he wants to make another playoff game, he will need his whole team to work well.
