Nancy Pelosi Just Ripped The Heart Out Of Republicans On Abortion

Speaker Nancy Pelosi told House Republicans men complaining about abortion on the House floor that she knows more about having babies than the Pope.

Speaker Pelosi said, “We’re not going to negotiate a woman’s right to choose. What are you going to negotiate? Whether a woman can have contraception? Is that cause for negotiation? Whether people can have birth control? A little bit here. A little bit there. Yes or no? Look, you’re in my wheelhouse now because I had five children in six years and one week. God blessed us with that, and Republicans have said on the House floor Nancy Pelosi thinks she knows more about having babies than the Pope. Yes, I do, and I think other popes would agree…That’s what we’re talking about. Respect freedom of reproductive health.”

Speaker Pelosi ripped the heart of the Republican argument that a). men know best when it comes to reproductive health, and b). the overturn of Roe is about freedom.

Senate Republicans blocked legislation on Thursday that would have banned states from prosecuting women who seek out-of-state abortion services. 

Nancy Pelosi and every other woman know more than men can possibly understand about having babies.

White men have seen their power and standing diminish in American society, and their response has been to take away rights from the majority of the population.

The abortion issue is about the minority asserting power and control over the majority. It is undemocratic and un-American and must be stopped.
