It would be difficult to take out Von Miller‘s soft spot for the Denver Broncos.

Even though he won another Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams and will play for the Buffalo Bills, the outside linebacker from Texas A&M was the face of the franchise for a decade.

He gave everything for the team that took him second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.

In his stint with the Broncos, Miller became a seven-time All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowl selection.

He was also the 2011 Defensive Rookie of the Year and a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

Miller also helped deliver a victory in Super Bowl 50 wherein he was named Most Valuable Player.

In return, the team has blessed him financially with close to $150 million of career earnings.

That’s why you can’t fault him rooting for his old team even if he will now be playing in the same conference.

Broncos insider Troy Renck tweeted, “In so many ways, @VonMiller will always be a member of #Broncos family. He’s pulling for the team’s success #Denver7.”

Miller said in the short interview, “You know, they got a good team. They have a really good team and we’ve been close in the AFC West for a very long time.”

He also went on to praise Russell Wilson, Jerry Jeudy, and Courtland Sutton.

Miller added, “I want those guys to win as many games as possible.”

Miller’s Allegiance Now Is With The Bills

While the Bills and the Broncos won’t meet during the regular season, Miller could play against his former team during the preseason.

However, there’s a possibility that they face each other during the playoffs.

When that happens, Miller will exert all of his effort to help the Bills win.

It’s his team now after signing a six-year, $120 million deal.

With Miller bringing a Super Bowl to every team he has played for, he might be the missing piece the Bills need to get over the hump.
