Schitt’s Creek star Sarah Levy recently announced the birth of her son and shared his name. Fans gushed at the name reveal and the story behind it.

Jame Eugene Outerbridge was named after his grandpa, Sarah’s father Gene Levy. James is Sarah’s first baby and was born on July 5th.

Sarah had announced her pregnancy in May on Instagram along with a photo showing her growing stomach. She captioned the photo,

“We’ll take all the salt & vinegar chips and the hottest hot sauce you have, thx!”

She also tagged her husband. She and Graham Outerbridge were married in October 2021 and were excited to start a family.

The couple had been together for several years before their engagement and marriage.

Sarah kept pretty quiet about the pregnancy for the most part, that is until her May announcement.

Sarah also couldn’t wait to show photos of her new baby boy with the name reveal. She added a photo of his tiny feet and her hands with the caption

“He decided to make an early entrance but we are so glad sweet James Eugene Outerbridge is in the world ✨.”’

Sarah’s friends and co-stars were thrilled with the arrival of the new baby as well. Many of them left comments congratulating the couple and celebrating the name choice.

Emily Hampshire posted,

“Congrats! He always has an auntie em!”

Karen Robinson said,

“Yayyyyyyyy!!! Lookit his perfect feet!!!”

Tim Rozon commented a simple heart emoji to show his love of the little guy and his support for Sarah and her new family.

Melanie Scrofano commented,

“Congratulations!!!! So happy for you I hope I get to cuddle him!”

Fans were also quick to express their love of the name. It’s clear that baby James is already loved by many and will always have the Schitt’s Creek family and fans by his side.
