However, it wasn’t always that way.
Resurfaced footage from the Warriors shows a young Curry from his rookie year in 2009.
Curry, who looked like a child, was in charge of the team’s doughnut run.
He is seen walking the halls with a bag full of assorted yummy treats, including some delicious glazed doughnuts.
He delivered the pastries to his waiting teammates, who celebrated Curry and called him the “doughnut man.”
All these years later, no one is calling him that.
Instead, they’re calling him the GOAT.
Chef Curry Delivers Breakfast
He started as a fresh-faced rookie who was dropping off doughnuts for the rest of his squad.
Now Curry is a eight-time All-Star and two-time scoring champion.
He also holds the NBA record for the most three-pointers in league history as well as now four championship rings.
But beyond that, Curry has literally changed the way the league looks.
The NBA is now filled with young, spry players who are focused on shooting deep twos and threes.
Curry has shifted focus and revived the thrill of the three-point shot, introducing this thrilling style of play to millions of new NBA fans.
He’s an iconic player with an iconic shot and leads an iconic team.
Long gone are the days of doughnut runs for Curry.
