Gas Prices Have Fallen For 3 Straight Weeks Under President Biden

Gas prices dropped 10.4 cents in the past week, which makes it the third straight week that the price at the pump has fallen.

GasBuddy compiled the data:

For the third straight week, the nation’s average gas price has declined, falling 10.4 cents from a week ago to $4.78 per gallon Tuesday according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The national average is down 7.1 cents from a month ago and $1.66 per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 6.3 cents in the last week and stands at $5.72 per gallon.

The Media Isn’t Talking About Gas Prices Anymore

Earlier in the summer, the media was hammering gas prices. However, as soon as prices started to drop, the coverage disappeared. The consistent pattern in the corporate media is that they are only interested in bad news.

They have made up their minds about Biden and his administration. The media perspective on this White House is to always look for the negative. It is an especially bothersome approach after they spent four years taking Trump’s denials at face value and giving them equal weight to facts and truth.

Gas prices have a long way to go before they return to pre-spike levels, but the price drop and the improving Democratic outlook for the midterm election are not unrelated.

There is good news for the nation, even if the corporate press has zero interest in reporting it.
