Well, I just did some damage [understatement of the century]. The verdict is in and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is not healthy for my bank account. Holy crap. Just when I think I am done shopping, I stumble upon something else that I NEED and all of a sudden I’m adding 12 more things to my cart, and well, 129 items later I’m hitting checkout. The point is, I have found a LOT to try. And so try I will. While you will look at this list below and think “Erin, why did you ACTUALLY buy ALL of this?” [don’t worry, that is a normal and healthy reaction and if you didn’t think those thoughts I might be concerned] and while the answer is yes because I need all of it [kidding, I don’t], I like to think of it as “being your official anniversary sale guinea pig”. It is my job to share with all of you what is worth spending your dollars on [and even more so, what isn’t worth spending your dollars on] so consider me a tester of sorts. I buy a lot because it’s product research [and because getting dressed is fun although full disclosure: I’m already sweating thinking about the outfit changes that are about to ensue while it’s 90 degrees but I’m prouncing around in sweaters and boots]. Additionally, without all of these items my annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Hits & Misses blog post wouldn’t be possible [here is last years for a taste of what is to come]!

If I Were Only Buying One: I am really excited to try this Beis travel bag! I have heard so many great things about this brand, so it’s about time to give it a try!
Tried & True Favorite: Anything BaubleBar is a must in my book! As you can see, I have several bracelets in my cart because I wear them every single day!

If I Were Only Buying One: If you can’t tell, I’m just really excited about all of this bright pink Zella is bringing to the sale this year! From leggings to tops, shorts, etc – as long as it is in this bright pink, I am here for it!
Tried & True Favorite: If you don’t own a pair of ON Cloudflow sneakers yet, now is your time to get them on sale [which is a very rare occasion!] They are a tried & true favorite of mine for the past year or two!
If I Were Only Buying One: This is hard because I am excited about all of these, but I know I’ll use it up the quickest so I’m going with the Olaplex set!
Tried & True Favorite: It isn’t a purchase I made above because I already own it and love it so much! This T3 curling iron is what I use every day to curl my hair [recommended to me by my hair stylist] and it hasn’t let me down yet!

Tried & True Favorite: Anything Vince Camuto gets my vote! I’ve been buying Vince Camuto booties for the past several sales and they always end up being my favorite!
If I Were Only Buying One: This wool & leather coat is so chic and sophisticated! I can’t wait to see what it’s all about in person!
Tried & True Favorite: This The North Face parka is an Indiana winter must-have! It’s almost $100 off in the sale and worth every dollar!

If I Were Only Buying One: This is hard because there are so many cute options, but I see myself wearing this style the most often!
Tried & True Favorite: I love Chelsea28 for dresses so you can’t go wrong with the fit and quality of this one!

If I Were Only Buying One: I have never tried this new to the sale brand, Pistola, before but so many of their jeans are SO cute! I can’t wait to get my legs into these specifically to see what they are all about!
Tried & True Favorite: It never fails, every year my favorite jeans from the sale are Kut from the Kloth brand! You won’t be disappointed in the styles you try! I’m most excited about this pair from them this year!
If I Were Only Buying One: I bought this kettle last year and I use it nightly – I am now getting another one for the house in Florida! I wouldn’t want to live without it now that I’ve been spoiled by it!
Tried & True Favorite: While it’s not on my list of what I actually bought this year [because I now own several] if you don’t own any of the Nordstrom Bliss throws, they are a must under $30! Super soft and hold up perfectly, wash after wash!

If I Were Only Buying One: This was the first item I saw in the sale upon my initial glance that got my heart fluttering! Needless to say, I can’t wait to get it and see if I love it as much as I think I will!
Tried & True Favorite: This Zella Cozy Wrap Jacket has been in the sale for a couple of years and every year I want to go back for a different color! It is truly the coziest! Size down one!

If I Were Only Buying One: I have been on the hunt for a new robe and I think this UGG robe is going to be the perfect amount of fluff and cozy I’m looking for!
Tried & True Favorite: So many tried & true favorites here, but I have to go with the Nordstrom Moonlight pajamas [literally wearing them as we speak]! They are super soft and stay in perfect condition wash after wash! I’m so excited about the new pattern options this year!

If I Were Only Buying One: If I could only choose one [gosh, that’s so hard] I’d have to go with these Nike sneakers – I find myself reaching for sneakers more than any other shoe and these are just so stinkin’ cute.
Tried & True Favorite: Because I already mentioned these ON sneakers above, I’ll go with another tried & true favorite — Dolce Vita. Their heels have proven to be the most comfortable I’ve ever owned and this style is speaking to me in a big way right now!
If I Were Only Buying One: This tee caught my eye immediately! The cuffed sleeve is so cute!
Tried & True Favorite: While I’ve never tried this specific tank, I know the quality and softness of the Nordstrom Moonlight brand so I can testify to the comfort level!

Tried & True Favorite: I have several tried & true favorites from this category but if I can only tell you about one, it has to be this Free People turtleneck sweater! I think nearly all of us on the LIY Team bought it [and wore the heck out of it] last year! I own it in several colors and go back for more every year!
