If Odell Beckham Jr. would have his way, he would like to be preparing for his ninth NFL season.

Instead, he is set to miss most the 2022 campaign because of his ACL injury.

He can’t do anything but go through the recovery process instead of participating in training camp.

It’s the games that he will miss the most, especially now that he is a Super Bowl champion.

Say what you want about him but he contributed to the Los Angeles Rams’ cause during Super Bowl LVI.

If he didn’t get injured, he might have been the game’s MVP, a distinction that went to Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp.

However, Beckham is claiming that the injury is bound to happen based on his recent tweet.

Beckham said, “Krazy thought … really played the whole back half of the season without an acl, and won a super bowl! God doesn’t misss, i swea.”

If that’s the case, was he playing with a bad knee leading into the playoffs?

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport revealed that Beckham’s recent operation is for correcting the previous surgery he got when he was still with the Cleveland Browns.

Furthermore, he said that re-injuring his ACL gave the people around him a sense of relief because he can get his knee fixed.

With proper surgery, he can continue to play at a high pace for more seasons.

Where Will Beckham Play?

For now, he remains a free agent because it isn’t certain if he can play in 2022.

However, the Rams have signified their interest to re-sign him.

Beckham will likely be interested to return in Los Angeles but nothing is official until he signs a contract.

Before the Rams make their offer, they will monitor his situation after surgery.

If he turns out to be fine, general manager Les Snead won’t hesitate to give him a long-term deal.
