Brazil-based company JBS’s IT hiring declined 16.2% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.79% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 2.58% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.33% decline over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Analysts tops JBS IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by JBS, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.77% in June 2022, and a 50% drop over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 30.77% in June 2022, and registered growth of 700%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 26.92% in June 2022, a 22.22% drop from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at JBS

North America emerged as the leading region in the global food IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 76.92% share, which marked a 16.67% drop over the previous month.

South & Central America stood next with 11.54%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.54% share and a 40% drop over May 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 76.92% share in June 2022, a 16.67% decline over May 2022. Australia featured next with an 11.54% share, down 40% over the previous month. Brazil recorded an 11.54% share, a decline of 50% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead JBS IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.38%, down by 37.04% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 34.62% share, a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.
