Germany’s food industry registered a 14.5% drop in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 17.54% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.69% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.23% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s food industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s food industry in June 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 40% in June 2022, registering a 53.85% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 26.67% share, a flat growth over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 20%, registering a 100% rise from May 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 10%, down 25% over the previous month.
Top five food companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 50% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s food industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Nestle posted 9 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by HelloFresh with 9 jobs and a 12.5% growth. Ferrero Group with 7 IT jobs and Suedzucker with 1 jobs, recorded a 16.67% growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while maxingvest recorded a decline of 50% with 1 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.33%, down by 47.22% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.67% share, registered an increase of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.67% share, up 25% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.33%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
