We recently took a look at all of the home items we’ve purchased through the years and narrowed down our all-time favorites to share with you! GE Countertop Nugget Ice Maker
I never knew how wonderful owning a nugget ice maker would be until I got it and now, well, let’s just say all other ice fails in comparison. You can have the satisfaction of your favorite fast food joint ice in all of your drinks at home. Simply sit it on your counter, add water, plug it in and watch it do its thing!
If I was giving out an award for “best purchase made in the 2020s” this guy would take the trophy home. We bought this Hatch Restore after learning about it on Shark Tank [same inventor of the Hatch Baby that’s been a top seller with over 9,000 reviews] and I fell in love after night one. It’s a personalized sleep machine that will ensure you get the best night of sleep possible. You simply set-up your desired “sleep routine” ranging from reading time, meditation time, a sound machine during the night, a natural sunrise to wake up to, an alarm clock with sounds that are fun [and relaxing] to wake up to and so much more. I truly look forward to crawling into bed every night, starting my sleep routine via the app and letting the Hatch do its thing. Husband approved as well! Ps. We tested several pillows awhile back and this one won for all of the categories – a year later and I’m still sleeping on it every night! I love that you can add or remove the amount of memory foam that you require to ensure you get a perfect night of sleep!
I’ve been a BIG Roomba fan for years, but it was last year I bought this one with the self-dispensing option that I really fell in love [you mean to tell me this thing will vacuum AND clean up after itself!?] It’s amazing and I feel like everybody needs it. The end.
This is hands down the most incredible smelling laundry detergent that transfers to your clothing [in the best way possible] I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been buying and using this for almost two years now and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. While it is on the expensive size, I quickly learned that you don’t have to use the 1/3 cup per wash that it calls for. To make it last longer I use my regular detergent but add a tablespoon or so of this to get the same amazing scent on my clothing and bedding. I can truly understand how others have said they have people stop them to ask what scent they are wearing after washing their clothes in this. Get ready to fall in love with laundry.

By far one of my favorite kitchen buys!! I can’t say enough good things about these measuring spoons — easy to read, magnetic so they stay together and the color helps me keep track of them in my very unorganized drawer!
My cleaning game just went up a notch with this handheld vacuum cleaner! From my couches, car interior, those hard to reach spaces and steps this thing is a beast and cleans like a champ! Super easy to use and my kids love using it and helping! It’s a win-win for everyone!!
Stone Diffuser / Santal Oil / The Hotel Oil
Want your house to smell like a 5 star hotel?! Truly this diffuser oil duo is SO good!! My house has never smelled better and I keep moving this diffuser throughout my house [probably time to get another one ;)]. A little goes a long way so I typically use 5-8 drops of The Hotel oil and 3 of the Santal! Use them together or separate, your house will never smell better!
These mounted shelves make a great addition to a kitchen or bar area and save a ton of cabinet space! The wine glass wire is removable, so you could opt to leave those off and decorate the shelves however you prefer (no wine glasses needed!).
Sip, sip, hooray! I’m a firm believer that iced coffee tastes better out of a straw. Anyone else? I’ve been using these silicone reusable straws for several months [along with my new cold-brew coffee maker] and they’re a hit! They come in a pack of 10 [for under $10!] and are dishwasher safe. My only question: WHY did I wait so long? Besides being super soft & cozy, I immediately noticed a better night’s sleep. I absolutely love my Porter ceramic + silicone lunch container from Amazon! It is so stinkin’ cute and it encourages me to actually pack my lunch! I also bring it along while dining out to avoid getting a takeout box, saving the earth one meal at the time! It is BPA-free, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe! I use it ALL the time and it has held up great for almost a year now! It comes in multiple colors and also an all silicone version!
White Peel and Stick Subway Tile
Okay, long story short, I painted my bathroom a color I didn’t like but I don’t want to repaint. SO here is what I did to give it a pop without costing too much $$ or too much time! This Peel and Stick Subway Tile is the best kept secret! It is so easy to apply [I am lazy and didn’t even measure, HA!] but it still turned out great [or at least good enough for me!] You can stick this stuff anywhere, bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, showers, ANYWHERE! If you mess up, don’t worry, you can just pull it right off! 6 months after putting it up, it is still looking beautiful! It comes in six colors so you have a lot of options to choose from!
Okay ladies, who loves hanging out on the back patio but cannot handle the mosquitos?! That would be me! Mosquitos seem to love me [a love I do not accept by the way] and I always swell up when bit! So it goes without saying that I need a solution to this problem. I stumbled across this Thermacell DEET free + scent free bug repellent because it has over 1,500 reviews! Out of all of Thermacell’s products, this seemed to be the most popular so I wanted to give it a try! Here in Indiana it is still pretty cold, so the mosquitos aren’t too bad yet, but we still gave it a test run! It is easy to use and from what we could tell, it worked pretty well! I will keep you all updated and continue to review it as those pesky little bugs get worse!
We just recently purchased an outdoor sectional and I had to get a new rug to match! Also, yes, the couch is missing two cushions in the photo–they had forgotten them when they dropped it off originally! But either way, I love how this rug looks with our new furniture! I had such a hard time choosing one, but I feel like I made the right decision! So far, it has held up great to the weather and to two doggos!

I wish I had some before images for you because wow, this space has gone through a complete transformation! I snagged this round gold mirror to go with my wall desk unit! Has anyone else been binge watching Studio Mcgee’s Dream Home Makeover?! Well, it has left me feeling inspired and super into an earth yet modern style! I was on the hunt for new utensils and also wanted to dress up our utensil holder as well when I stumbled upon this crock and fell in love! I am such a sucker for the Creative Co-Op, so I had to get my hands on it! Who says utensil holders can’t be cute, right!?
My husband and I recently adopted a second dog [I can’t believe it either!] and he is a Brittany Lab mix and is the absolute sweetest! Because of that, ALLLL of my purchases are somehow related to our dogs, ha! First, we had to change up our duvet cover… I loved our all white bedding but with two shedding dogs it was just no longer manageable [sigh]. BUT I have been super drawn to patterns lately so I was excited to incorporate it into our bedroom! I found this duvet cover that is super cute while also being super durable for our two pups! I am happy with how easily it incorporates with the rest of our decor!
Next up, I ordered this super cute dog food container! It is on the smaller size [I wouldn’t use it for large quantity storage] but I refill it at least once a week! I keep the bulk of their food in the basement and keep this upstairs in the kitchen for easy access–I leave it sitting out so I wanted something cute!

Roomba Our OG Roomba form several years ago bit the dust, and after the first two days of using this new self-emptying Roomba, I was BLOWN AWAY. What a difference an upgrade can make! This Roomba maps your whole home, and then will work it’s way inch by inch in nice lines, will get itself back to home base when it’s low on power [and continue on once it’s charged up], and self-empties itself each and every time! WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE, FRIENDS! 😉
Most used item in my kitchen? Honestly, it might be the Echo Show 8! Asking it to set a timer, asking the temp, playing music, watching the pictures slide through, finding recipe ideas, checking the Ring doorbell, and more, I’m constantly discovering more things to do with it!
I wanted to get some inexpensive rocking chairs for our patio where I could sit outside and do computer work, watch the kids play, or just have a glass of wine! This set fit the bill pricewise, and now that they’re here and put together, I know they’re comfortable too! I want to get a small pillow for each, which I think will make them look a little more high-end, and also keep the pillow back more upright! Overall, I’m calling these a win for the price!

Organization is one of my love languages, and when I saw how ridiculously out of control our bathroom linen closet had become, I knew it was time to call in some Amazon reinforcements. I absolutely LOVE these stackable clear drawers. They fit perfectly on one another, easily slide out, and allow me to see what I actually have [rather than digging or accidentally buying multiples]. I used a combination of the 6 ¾ height, 4 ½ height, and one open compartment organizer for my taller items! I organized by body, face, hair, medicine, bath, tanning/sunscreens, nails, etc!
