The artist himself wrote in a since-deleted tweet, “no longer even that, does not even should be me nominated. i simply really feel like black homosexual ppl need to battle to be observed on this global and even if we make it to the highest ifs attempt to faux we’re invisible”
In every other since-deleted Tweet on June 1, Lil Nas X wrote, “thanks guess awards. an excellent 0 nominations once more. black excellence!”
