Amid the backlash, Walmart pulled the Juneteenth ice cream from cabinets and on-line.

“We gained comments that a couple of pieces led to fear for a few of our shoppers and we sincerely express regret. We’re reviewing our collection and can take away pieces as suitable,” Walmart advised CNN in a commentary.

Walmart didn’t in an instant reply to Entrepreneur‘s request for remark.
