The Toronto Blue Jays have activated reliever Ryan Borucki from the injured record, making him to be had for the second one recreation of Saturday’s doubleheader towards the Cleveland Guardians.
Julian Merryweather was once optioned to triple-A Buffalo to make room for Borucki.
The left-hander was once positioned at the 10-day IL with a center finger blister on his pitching hand. It was once his 2d stint at the IL this season. Borucki didn’t smash camp with the Blue Jays after struggling a hamstring harm throughout spring coaching.
Merryweather has seemed in 12 video games this season and has a 6.94 ERA with 12 strikeouts thru 11.2 innings. He pitched two scoreless innings of reduction within the first recreation of Saturday’s doubleheader.
