SpaceX returned the astronauts of NASA’s Staff-3 project to Earth early on Friday morning, marking the 6th human spaceflight the corporate finished up to now.

“On behalf of all of the SpaceX staff, welcome house,” Sarah Gillis, SpaceX lead operations engineer, mentioned on a webcast after splashdown. “It is been an absolute honor to improve you to your project, Staying power workforce, and thank you for flying SpaceX.”

“That was once a perfect trip,” Staff-3 commander Raja Chari mentioned.

Staff-3 spent 177 days in area, with the vast majority of that point spent on board the World House Station. The SpaceX-launched project carried a staff of 4: NASA astronauts Chari, Tom Marshburn and Kayla Barron, and Eu House Company astronaut Matthias Maurer.
