Burying the hatchet!
Mo’Nique and Lee Daniels, who directed her Oscar-winning efficiency in Treasured, have settled a years-long feud and are started working in combination once more. The comedian-actress introduced the director out onstage at her Mo’Nique and Pals: April Fools Day with The Queen of Comedy display on Staten Island, New York on April 1.
“I’m so sorry for hurting you by any means that I did. She used to be my best possible pal, my best possible pal. Y’all suppose that Treasured used to be simply— that used to be God running, via either one of us. And we are going to f–king do it once more!” Daniels stated, ahead of appearing some dance strikes and hugging Mo’Nique.
They then exchanged “I like you”s because the target market cheered.
Hours ahead of the display, Closing date reported that Mo’Nique is about to exchange Octavia Spencer within the director’s new movie Demon Space after the latter actress had a scheduling struggle. It is going to mark the second one onscreen roles since 2016 for Mo’Nique, who is about to make her performing comeback within the upcoming mystery The Studying, which used to be filmed closing yr.
