Jessica Chastain used her Oscars speech to toughen the LGBTQ+ neighborhood


Chastain took up the mantle of Tammy Faye Bakker Messner, the overdue TV evangelist who would later grow to be a champion for the LGBTQ+ neighborhood, announcing “We are confronted with discriminatory and bigoted law this is sweeping our nation, with the one purpose of additional dividing us.”

Chastain went on to say “the violence and hate crimes being perpetuated on blameless civilians in all places the sector.”
