Amy Schumer has addressed the backlash she won for creating a comic story about Kirsten Dunst being a “seat filler” throughout the Oscars 2022 rite.
In an Instagram Tale shared March 28, Amy wrote, “Hiya I respect the affection for Kirsten Dunst. I like her too! That was once a choreographed bit she was once in on. Would not disrespect that queen like that.”
Amy started her bit by means of explaining to the group the concept that of seat fillers—other folks designated to fill seats when celebrities are somewhere else throughout the rite. Amy then made her far more than to Kirsten and her husband and co-star Jesse Plemons‘ desk.
“Here is a seat filler,” she stated, referencing Kirsten. “Honey, do you need to visit the toilet?”
