It is been 5 months since Sudan’s army staged a coup finishing an influence sharing settlement with civilian leaders. Each week since then, pro-democracy demonstrators have taken to the streets to problem the junta’s authority. Greater than 80 folks were killed as safety forces crack down on protests.
Lots of the ones taking to the streets are younger ladies. However there are expanding experiences safety forces were focused on them with beatings, sexual attack, and rape to silence them.
Our Africa correspondent, Catherine Byaruhanga has been investigating those allegations in Khartoum.
