Justice Clarence Thomas has been hospitalized because of an an infection, the Ultimate Court docket mentioned Sunday.
Thomas, 73, used to be admitted to Sibley Memorial Sanatorium in Washington, D.C., on Friday after experiencing “flu-like signs,” in keeping with the court docket remark.
Thomas is being handled with antibiotics and his signs are abating. He’s resting with ease and expects to be launched in an afternoon or two, the court docket mentioned.
The Ultimate Court docket is assembly this week to listen to arguments in 4 instances. Thomas plans to take part within the instances despite the fact that he misses the arguments, the court docket mentioned.
Thomas has been at the court docket since 1991.
