In nearly each and every nook of the station concourse over the weekend, within the ready rooms, the underpasses and all alongside the platforms, there have been other people taking refuge, slumbering, anxiously ready, dashing for trains. There have been stressful moments as volunteer stewards attempted to carry again the crowds of other people massed at access gates, scared of lacking their probability to flee. Ladies with youngsters wept with the tension, clutching their passports and circle of relatives beginning certificate in a single hand and their youngsters within the different. Outdoor the station, there have been tearful goodbyes as fighting-age males, banned from leaving Ukraine, stopped and let their households cross, not sure if they might ever see them once more.
