At the “Eddie Vedder” episode of the Smartless podcast, launched Feb. 14, hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes introduced an lost sight of pun to listener’s consideration and now we will be able to’t glance again! When discussing how they watched the Beatles documentary in combination, Jason chimed in to let listeners know that the “Beat” in The Beatles is a pun on song beats. 

Jason mentioned, regarding his co-host Sean, “This ding dong did not take into account that The Beatles, spelled B-E-A-T, just like the beat, like one makes a beat with song.”  Sean chimed in including, “I didn’t know that. Is not that so silly?”

Jason additional defined to Sean, and most certainly many people listeners at house, that whilst a beetle malicious program is spelled B-E-E-T, the rock band used a distinct spelling to play up at the thought of a musical pun. 

However it kind of feels Sean is not the one one that discovered “One thing” new. You megastar Penn Badgley took to Twitter to proportion his ideas at the topic, writing, “I stand with @SeanHayes for I, too, did not know the Beatles’ identify used to be wordplay.”

He added, “Finally this time I simply… by no means thought of it. And I do assume so much.
