Canada’s Brad Gushue stepped forward to 2-0 within the Olympic males’s curling festival with a 6-5 win over Norway’s Steffen Walstad on Thursday.
Tied 5-5 after 9 ends, the Newfoundland and Labrador skip made a draw to the four-foot together with his remaining rock within the tenth to take the win.
The sport was once shut all over. The groups traded deuces within the first and 2nd ends in addition to the 8th and 9th. They exchanged singles within the fourth and 5th.
Gushue is again on the Olympics after successful gold in 2006 in Turin.
