Susan Sarandon has apologized for her arguable feedback a couple of NYPD officer’s funeral, following a backlash.
“I deeply remorseful about the meme I lately shared on Twitter that incorporated a photograph of Officer Jason Rivera’s funeral,” Sarandon wrote on Feb. 4. “I reacted temporarily to the image with out connecting it to a police funeral and I notice now how insensitive and deeply disrespectful it used to be to make that time at the moment.”
The Monarch celebrity persisted, “I sincerely ask for forgiveness to the circle of relatives of Officials Rivera and [Wilbert] Mora for inflicting further ache right through their time of grieving.”
